AUBURN HILLS, Mich. (WXYZ) - Families seeking justice for their loved ones protested at Chrysler Monday. They say they want their day in court, even though the company that emerged from bankruptcy is no longer liable.

Protestors claim Chrysler vehicle defects injured of killed their family members.

One condition of bankruptcy: Chrysler is no longer responsible for prior liability claims.

Chrysler issued a statement saying, in part, that liquidation would have had much more painful consequences for employees, retirees, dealers, suppliers and creditors.
